Today printing continues,i finished the base plates and i found some models. I also should mention the generator i used that can be found here. Along with some models i had already printed it’s starting to look good Pasted image 20260325110458.png Here’s the list of prints - 18650 tray - Dremel set - Scissors and pliers - Bins are generated

And i will print/I am printing - Vase 1u box very interesting design, and you can print multiple at once if you print by object, vase mode is really an overlooked feature in my opinion it is nice seeing it used in a meaningful way, i hope i can find other sizes to print in vase - lighters all smokers always lose their lighters, me included, i hope this will help me to not lose any

In the meantime of writing this i looked some vase mode up and it turns out someone absolute chad already made an scad parametric vase mode bin Using 23 bottom layers i can get a print time of 1h for a 2ux3ux45.9mm bin, which is crazy, and the best part is that i can generate my own

Rn my friend commandeered my printer for a few prints, in the meantime i could make a list of stuff to print for the gridfinity. Firstly i need a tray to put my screwdriver in and it’s inserts. I found this looks good and i can both store the driver and its bits. Then i would like something to hold my caliper, a lot of designs are available Pasted image 20260325123355.png But they all seem so wasteful, if i can find a .step i’ll remix and make my own (also what’s up with digital calipers? Just learn to read one or get a dial one i don’t get the need to add a failure point). Couldn’t find anything so i’m opening Fusion and going to make my own.

The first design is done Pasted image 20260325134420.png I had to split it in the middle to fit my printing plate although i will later post it as a single step that you can divide by object in the slicer if it doesn’t fit the plate, i also prepared a test print that i will be posting alongside it to make sure your caliper fit and to aid the design process.
